How to find wedding photographer | Florida wedding photographer | Tampa Bay wedding photographer

Photos are one of the only things that you will have as take away from your big day and will continue to bring you joy for years to come. You’re going to get married once, and you only have one shot to pick a photographer.

Determine your budget

Before you even start looking for Florida wedding photographer, you need to decide how valuable photography is for you and what are you looking to get out of hiring your photographer?  If you are looking for someone to go over a shot list or because “you have to have a photographer at your wedding”, then any photographer will do, and you can start “price” shopping. But if you want personal experience – you have some homework to do.  Most photographers will have their prices listed on their website or upon request. Wedding photographers can be very expensive, but you need to understand that there is a lot of time and effort that goes into photographing a beautiful wedding. I can’t speak for all photographers, but I don’t just arrive on your wedding day, shoot and leave. We’ll be there months prior helping you plan the engagement session,  day-of timeline,  and we’ll be there after the wedding designing your album.

What do you feel when looking trough photos?

With so many talented photographers and familiar styles its easy to get lost. When looking trough many portfolios what do you feel? Look at the work of the photographers in your area and determine what style you are most drawn. You are hiring an artist, and each photographer will tell the same story differently. Make sure their work speak to you! The entire day is filled with so many beautiful moments and goes by so quickly that it is important to have gorgeous photographs so you can relive every cherished moment.

Meet your photographer in person.

Make sure you like your photographer as a person. You will spend more time with your photographer on a wedding day than with anyone else. You want someone who will complement the atmosphere. The best way to get to know your photographer is pre-booking consultation. It is a time when the photographer will tell you about their approach and philosophy. A good photographer will spend some time getting to know you and recognize your needs.
Finally, do you click with the photographer? Make sure the photographer make you feel comfortable during the consultation because this is the way the photographer will make you feel during your wedding.

Reviews.

Look trough reviews from past clients. If they have good things to say about experience with the photographer most likely, you’ll be happy as well. There are many ways you can find what other clients saying about the photographer. For example Wedding Wire or The Knot or personal recommendation.
